Happy Birthday Dad

We celebrated your life last night with friends and family. I overdid it on the zoom setup but you deserved it. Some of the people on the call I met for the first time since I wasn't born yet when they were around. We played your favorite song and found some amazing photos. Some we haven't seen before. I'm sorry Tito Eric couldn't join, he was up in the mountains in the Philippines and the internet isn't too reliable up there.

Everyone's stories had a few things in common, you were the life of the party in each of them. And you had a boisterous laugh. I really loved hearing that Tito Dan's mom warned, "stay away from Ed, he's a hippy."

Hearing all of these stories was moving. I know you as dad but to others you were so many things. I only wish you got to hear how fondly and lovingly everyone spoke of you.
